How is he this tankless hot water tank was to hook up by myself. I followed the color code worrying from my other hot water tank to hook up my tankless water heater one important thing you should know. When hooking a tankless water heater up very important is water flow The more water flow you have the better the tankless hot water works something they don't tell you but I've learned that's very important so good luck enjoy I love my tankless hot water heater.

The pressure adjustment valve doesn't seem to work. On city water, not real high pressure, it poured water out of the valve. I removed it and just capped it off with a 1/2" steel cap from a hardware store. Not a big deal and it does heat the water fairly quickly. For the price, I'm fine with the modification.

Installed the water heater in my camper. The remote control worked for a few minutes and now gives me an EC code. Tried to contact some kind of service but redirects to amazon customer service. They will only refund and not send a new unit or replacement part to correct the problem. Never had the chance to use the water heater based on the error code on the controller. Would love to just get the new controller to actually be able to use my water heater. I can't take the unit out and leave a hole to return to wait for a new one. Let's just say customer service and servicing of this product is horrible

I haven’t really got a lot of use out of it yet, but I just installed it and so far so good. My old water heater (with a tank) was larger, so I had to make a faceplate to frame out the new water heater and fill the gap. When I installed I cut and taped off the old 110 volt lines as this heater doesn’t make use of those lines. I only needed the positive and negative coming from the 12 volt battery system. I needed to disconnect all power to the camper and use a multimeter to check for continuity between the camper frame and the old 12 volt lines to find the negative. Then I connected the battery, set the multimeter to DC and found the other line that was sending 12 volts (the positive line). You will need to put one lead of the multimeter on the negative you found earlier then tap the other lead to the other lines to find the positive. Don’t forget you probably have a switch in the camera that turns on this line, so you’ll have to turn it on to find the positive wire.*Edit, one more note. You’ll see a lot of videos online of people installing tankless water heaters in campers and most of them are telling you to install a pressure relief valve on the hot side. This unit comes with one already installed in it.Disclaimer, if you don’t know what you are doing or are not comfortable doing the work yourself then take it to a professional.

This thing appears to work really well. I haven’t been able to run water a ton yet, but from what I can tell, it’s a very consistent temperature. The replacement of the existing one was a cake walk. Took maybe an hour by the time all was said and done. The fit was spot on with the standard sized existing unit and I’m happy to report that we gained about a half a cubic foot of storage in our cabinet. It’s nice that the gas line is down low on this thing so that the original gas line reaches. Note to installers: be sure to gently bend the gas line if it’s copper so it doesn’t kink.Glad we found this unit for the price point ($300 at the time of purchase).Hopefully it’ll last a long time. Will update this review if needed.

It came with a non functional pressure relief valve. Tried to solve it with Amazon customer service. I only need a new good working valve. But no, only way to solve a problem is sending it completely back and wait probably 14 days for hopefully receiving a working valve. Rest works as described. And I need this to work. Capped it off instead of the valve in order not to loose my fresh water in like 2 hours due leaking valve. This kind of stuff is better to buy lokaly with real responsible service. Sorry Amazon
