I have a Montana5 wheel and it took forever to get the correct size so you have to really check closely to which way the knobs are in the plug-in but this is a great price and it was great quality.

These connectors seem to be quite good quality. I have a couple of the RVGuard brand products and appreciate the good quality. Especially when dealing with electrical components for safety and reliability. Had some other brands that I could hear sparking in side. Got rid of those ones and tried the RVGuard brand and am very impressed. Going on a year now and very happy. Highly recommend their product line.

This works great to plug into 15 amp shore power, however if you have an RV cover on, it sticks out just as far as the 30 Amp cord does. The Conntek 14205 RV 1.5-Feet Pigtail has a 45 degree plug that fits better under a cover, doesn't stick out so far. If you could find an extension cord with a 90 degree female end, it would work better. As far as the locking ring, my RV has a Conntek receptacle, & the part the ring locks onto is not threaded, it has parallel ribs. The ring on this item is threaded, & (amazingly) it will thread into the Conntek receptacle, locking it snugly in place. While that part is waterproof, the 15A plug is obviously not.

Been using this for months now. Works fine. No signs of melting or overheating from quality. The lock ring is a little flimsy. Do not overtighten or it could break or strip the lock ring. Not a deal breaker because it works & not overpriced.
