The first one I ordered had a problem with the tip. Not sure what was causing the issue,wouldn't keep a constant flame and I did find one of the holes in the tip that was blocked and possibly hadn't been drilled out. Another issue, is that they really reef the nozzle nut on. I got it off by arranging it in my vise. I installed one of my original compatible tips and I got gas blow-by with flame around the back of the nut. I reefed the nut on super tight and it works fine. I have never had to tighten one up that much before. The replacement that they sent me had that same issue with the nut. I'll just get used to it. She works perfect.

Dropped from 2 stars to 1. The seller reached out to me and I responded, 5 days later no reply.So, the unit is quite light weight and for the minimal amount I was planning to use over the years it would have met my needs. The flash back valves are a nice touch.. I did cut up and old trailer and disc barrow, the torch can easily cut through 1/2 steel/cast….however the issue I had was the OXY lever kept sticking/not shutting off when using which drove me up the wall. So only 3 stars and I am returning.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband. It wasn't something that he'd use all the time, but he felt it would come in handy in the right situation. It's been 5 months since I purchased it and today was the first day he wanted to use it for something. Sadly, it did NOT work. He said that the acytelyne is not coming through the torch. He swapped out the cutting head and it still didn't work. Then he tried the cutting head (from the new one) on an older unit and it did NOT work either. So something is wrong with the cutting head. Amazon wasn't able to help because it was 5 months old. The seller is MIA and we can't even reach out to them to resolve this. So we are simply out the money. Very sad. DO NOT BUY!!! Thank you.
