Installed the whole kit to repair failed coil.New Hub would bottom out and engage the compressor at all times.Had to use the original hub to make it engage and disengage correctly. Still work it. Mechanic would have cost a lot more.

This product allowed to replace just the clutch, which is usually what goes out. Instead of replacing the entire compressor, which means I would have had to pay to have the system purged and then refilled with Freon, at over $1000.00. All it takes is two people, one to turn the AC on and the other to listen for the clutch to click in. If you don't hear it, replace the clutch for under $100!

A/C just stopped working one day after checking a few things I thought the clutch coil was bad. There is a video on YouTube that walks you through this repair job and you need a few tools and some patience. I found this on Amazon and followed the video and now my A/C is working great.

Was a great, inexpensive way to get the compressor on my 2018 Pacifica running again. You can replace it without removing the compressor but you have to really pull a lot of stuff out of the passenger side wheel well to get good access to it. Be very careful with the electrial connection. This clutch is missing a little plastic guide inside the electrical receptacle that makes the plug line up properly with the pins. The first time that I installed it I actually crushed one of the pins when I went to plug in the electrical connector. I was fortunately able to straighten it back out and then very carefully get the connector on.

The ac went out on my wife’s 2017 Pacifica. It was due to a bad clutch. Not sure if it was the electro magnet or the clutch itself, but it was getting power and wouldn’t come on. So I ordered this kit. Arrived on time, parts seem to be of good quality. I had to ruin the original clutch getting it off. This fit perfectly onto the ac compressor. It cycles on and off exactly as it should. I just installed it this evening so time will tell how well it holds up! So far I definitely recommend! (I changed it while on van, was a bit difficult but with patience and a camera phone I was able to do it!)

this is absolute junk. then when ordering a replacement, it doesn't show and I have no confirmation of when it will be shipped. total junk. not impressed at all. do not buy.
