Not strong at all, barely lifted anything and whatever we lifted would just fall off. Returned all three even though we had to pay the return shipping. Do not suggest buying these if you need to lift more than a paper clip

BE CAREFUL, CHECK YOURS IMMEDIATELY UPON RECEIPT, HIGHLY UNSAFEWe run a shop with approx 20 cranes, and use magnets frequently, typically Eriez, or similar name brands. We bought a 300 and 600kg magnet here recently due to the small form factor, and easy of use in tighter weldments, etc.We found out almost immediately these are built wrong when a shop hand, within the first day of these going out to the shop almost lost a load. He brushed against the handle and the load shifted, and no one had realized, or thought to check that on was on and off was off. The sticker and handle orient correctly, showing on as the locking position. However, on per the sticker is actually off per the magnet. This is true on both the 300 and 600kg magnets we just received. So the on position is non-locking. They built these backwards. What is concerning is that two different sizes have the same problems. These are going to get someone seriously hurt or killed. This is a very dangerous manufacturers defect, check yours immediately if you dare purchase. In fairness, I just reached out the seller a bit ago, so I can not speak to their intentions of making this right. But due to the severity and danger related to the issue, I felt the right course was to leave a product review immediately in hopes it may save someone else from an accident.

Overall assembly is a very rigorous procedure, its production is very precise, used to move heavy objects and metal, the overall operation process is very labor-saving. Saving time and labor is an important part of the job.

I don't know how thick the steel has to be to develop the rating, but I can say with certainty that 1/4" steel plate isn't remotely enough. This product needs a much more accurate description.
