The belt rotates up to 630M/min but using the variable speed control mechanism you change choose the most appropriate speed for the job. 3-Side sanding allows for precise work in joints and awkward nooks and crannies, Plus ‘plunge’ sanding. “Don’t know how I ever managed without it” My husbands words. He loves this tool, possibly even more than me. He buys the sand paper belts 1/2 Inch x 18 Inch and uses this tool daily. Ryobi is a quality product and this tool is a game changer for craftsman to reach the most awkward angles and spaces. No battery or charger with this tool but he has many so that was not a problem. He’s very happy with the purchase.

Diese Bandfeile habe ich mir geholt, da ich bei meinem Camper hin und wieder in kleinen Zwischenräumen schleifen muss. Hierzu ist die Bandfeile ganz wunderbar geeignet. Sie lässt sich leicht bedienen und auch das Gewicht ist in meinen Augen relativ gering. Die Bänder lassen sich ohne Probleme wechseln und mittels einer Einstellungsschraube an der Seite lässt sich der Lauf der Bänder einstellen. Die Geschwindigkeit des Bandes lässt sich ebenfalls einstellen. Alles um das Gerät in Betrieb zu nehmen funktioniert sehr intuitiv und problemfrei. Ich habe dieses Gerät nun schon einige Zeit im Einsatz und auch nicht geschont und bisher ist nichts passiert. Die Feile wird nicht besonders warm, selbst bei langer Dauerleistung. Der Grip ist super und die Einsatzmöglichkeiten sind sehr vielfältig. Zuletzt habe ich damit meine Messer geschärft, auch das funktioniert einwandfrei. Besonders Messer mit einer recurve Klinge lassen sich damit optimal schleifen. Viel mehr gibt es zu dem Gerät nicht zu sagen, der Preis ist absolut in Ordnung und ich denke die Feile wird noch lange ein Begleiter an meiner Seite sein. Ich kann das Produkt uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Great value at $74 on Amazon! Quality is very good and unit is very easy to use and change belts.Only suggestion is it could use a port for a vacuum attachment.

I used this to shape and finish some cut lines on ABS panels. It did a great job. It had rapid material removal with the coarser grits and worked well sanding out the scratches from the coarse grits, too. It gets a bit warm when running continuously for extended periods, but did not shut down.

Work amazing for those hard to reach sanding job. Just recently put a tube in my woodplitter tire and used it to sand the inside of the rim.
