With this item I was able to connect 9/16 item which in my case is a flashback arrestor from my Victor torch hose to the regulars which are 3/8" giving me the protection and the allowance of connections both 9/16" and 3/8" torch's with the comfort of knowing no backlash can go into the acetylene thank.
