Throttle Body Installation Notes
After replace the throttle body, the idle speed is usually high, unstable or the engine fault light on.
This is because the newly installed throttle body parameters are inconsistent with the original.
Now you need to match the throttle to the computer. The matching process actually is to clear the original memory of the ECU, and restart the self-learning.
When the computer cannot match, you can use the manual method to match.

Ready to install and solid fit.It is a better deal to change the whole assembly of the throttle body and throttle body sensor, as you still need to take whole thing out to change the TPS. Also it eliminates potential issues with worn spots on the throttle body gears.Whole assembly means avoiding inadvertently turning the gears in the body as well cleaning and all that added time mucking with it. Price and the 20 minute swap out totally worth it.Easy on a 2008 ford focus. The only complicated part is knowing that sensor plug has a two part lock on it. You need to disengage and slide the red lock over then the primary lock tab pull off.First turn on has the ECM learning the TPS and just takes 5 to 10 minutes. Solid 800 rpm idle after.

Price value-wise a great product availability was great easy install on the 2010 Ford Transit after installing had no problemwith it.I bought this throttle body because the temperature was fluctuating running hot and I didn't want it to overheat and blow the head gasket also installed engine coolant temp sensor on top of the engine after initial installing and the ECM start getting it's parameters everything worked okay no overheating issues would recommend this product
