Gives piece of mind on 1/2 hour bike commute. Velcro works great. Great product.

The velcro could be stronger, or have more surface area. I first mounted it horizontally on my frame (like the picture) and it fell off after 1 mile. I then placed it vertically on the handle bar riser and it has remained in place. I like the way the thumb piece is designed for one-handed operation. The spray steam is super thin. I don't know if this will be an issue as I have only practiced, not used on an actual aggressive dog.

Bought one for myself and my biking buddy. Haven’t had to use it, but glad we have it if we need it.

I was concerned that it might fall off based on other comments, but I find that it holds on very well. I suppose it might fall off if I was mountain biking, but no issues at all on a road bike on rough roads. And a very easy quick draw if needed

The Velcro that held the bike mount to the removable holder did not have enough contact. The holder, which held the pepper spray can, fell off and was lost on a bumpy stretch of bike path. Also I had to remove the pepper spray can out of the holder to get a firm grip. When I tested the spray with the can in the holder the can just popped out the button of the holder.

I live in a small town and some people let there dogs run wild. I wanted something just in case I had an aggressive dog chase me. I haven't had to use this yet but I like having it with me anyway. It stays in place and doesn't slip out. That could be because of the placement of it on the handle bars but it seems like it's pretty tight in the sleeve.

I would recommend this product, but would caution that this product needs to be carried carefully. I had it strapped in my bicycle handlebars when a fairly large dog began to chase me. I got off the bike and pointed the spray in his direction, and I guess that maybe he had been sprayed before and decided to turn around and walk away. Remember, as with any pepper spray, they have an expiration date and need to be replaced. I carry pepper spray in my car also. Luckily, I have never been in a situation that I had to use it, but is a nonlethal away of defending yourself. Make sure you don't spray upwind, or you might end up with in your face, and that might not be the best scenario.

This works great on the bar - below the seat post. The part that wraps around the post stretches and holds tight. The removable spray also has a secure strip of Velcro. At first I didn't think it Velco'd together as well as it could, but it is Very Secure, so it works fine and stays in place (even if nudged). Ii couldn't attach it on the frame/bar - since my cables run along that area. I've also taken my handheld version of this Sabre spray - on my runs, but never took it on a bike ride... but then my husband and I were attacked by 2 dogs a few weeks ago and he was bitten, so I ordered this (that day) and leave it on - at all times.
