The mounts were not too far off so adjusting was required. As for the bolts? They did not fit correctly. You need two different sized bolts. And all 4 bolts are not correct. Some one took a picture of moving the original front 2 bolts to the back. It was not perfect but it worked. But the new bolts are too long in the front. This was installed on a 2016 Honda Shadow 750 Aero.

So, like some of the other reviews, I noticed that the holes didn't exactly match my bike (2013 Honda Shadow Aero) even though description said it would. So I used a high-tech method to make it work. See picture with my foot. It's sturdy, but you can apply some pressure and widen the supports to make them fit. FYI, I'm older than most of you and don't exactly hit the gym regularly (or at all). But it was still fairly easy to do this with just a gentle tug. My only complaint is that you have to use a hex wrench to turn the bolt (they provide longer ones and yes you will need them). Wish they had manufactured it to use a socket wrench. Would have made it easier and much faster. All and all, happy with the results.

This is a revised review, after bending thrm in to place these brackets fit the bolt patern on my 2011 shadow aero however the hardware they sent where not right. I had to go to the hardware store and get longer bolts od the ones that came off my bike. I will admit one of the bolt sizings was correct, but not long enough. The back bolts however are a different size and they sent 4 of the exact same wrong bolt with this kit.Long story short, if you are open to spending an additional $15 in hardware, this works. I still suggest this company step their game up though.

Great solid product, fit my 2009 Honda Shadow Aero perfectly. One bolt on each side was too long, so I just used the original ones. No big deal. Very easy to install. Delivered as promised, good packaging.

Yes these work perfect. And yes the bolts supplied are not right,however if you can start a bolt straight, the origianal front bolt will start and secure with aprox 3 threads, so yes they will work as is on an 07 aero. Great supports and perfect fit for these small bags.O.K. some one tell the manufacturer longer bolts would be the way to go, but they do work with O.E and kit hardware. Use a little muscle. Happy trails.

brackets have been on bike for about a month. good quality and lined up nicely on my aero shadow 750cc. only issue I had, was the bolts for the back of the bracket about 1/2inch too long. guess I would much rather have too long than too short. ended up cutting off end and grinding it flat. did take a little time to do it. otherwise very easy to install. would recommend for the quality and price. very sturdy btackets.

This was a great find. A local dealer wanted over $100 for a similar bracket. I paid $33 for this one, huge savings! I had to "stretch out" the bracket about 1/8" to get the holes to line up, but it wasn't a problem. Instructions would be helpful, but it was fairly easy to figure out. Calvary Customs shipped the same day I ordered and the package arrived very quickly! I'm very pleased with this purchase.
