So in order to properly review these I decided to actually try eating out of it to see if the rubber taste would permeate upwards into the food. I tried it with some curry to test this and was very glad that it does not. The curry tasted pretty much normal. They seem pretty thick and durable. They have a reinforced ring of thicker rubber in the center that helps provide support to them, and they do fine with being picked up, tossed, flopped around, stepped on, and otherwise treated how horses treat them. Overall excellent bowls that will last you the better part of a decade.

Needed a feed pan thats large enough to hold a nursing mama's food since she gets more now and her little man eats with her. These pans are HUGE, sturdy and easy to carry and drop in place. They rinse out and stack well!
