This is a good kit but for the price I would have expected more durable feeling locks. Maybe too much value is dumped into the box, which does havea pretty good design. I haven't tried but I feel that these locks could be pryed open with a screwdriver.

Locks like this set is not normally designed for anything other than assuring that the path of any given item makes its destination untouched, unpolluted, etc, by the intervention of nefarious sources!I came up with an economical solution at a family estate auction using these locks. We locked all items in the sale that could be locked up. With only one key between all 12 of the locks used, the convenience was built into the security and saved me a ton of money to boot! You will never find 12 padlocks with one key anywhere, unless you hire a private security firm at 10 times the cost!Solid and secure locks, with a perfect, safe and inexpensive resolution that works!

This is a pretty good lockout kit. I was impressed by how solid the box is. Comes with 7 locks, each with their own key, and then 2 master keys. The locks are a little cheap feeling, but it's the standard lockout padlocks that come with most these sets. One of them had a ball bearing just fall out of it randomly, and it still locked and unlocked, so no idea what that's about, or what the bearing actually did. You're not really buying this for security, so the locks only need to be basic. If I had one complaint it would be that I wish the locks came with two keys instead of one. Otherwise, this is a near perfect lockout kit.

Not sure what the box itself is to be used for but the locks are great. Exactly what was needed to add to a pre existing lock out kit. Great quality and wonderful value.

We keep a common gate key in this box, which allows people to use the gate when our manager gives the OK. This set is really well suited for this very specific task. Also, we work around high-voltage unprotected lines for light rail trains, and everyone needs one of these lockout tagout locks for working around the high voltage.The quality of the locks is about the same as other LOTO locks I've used in the past, they are not designed for high security, but rather power access prevention. One small perk of this particular set is the keying mechanism is non-standard, so it's highly unlikely to be picked.The master keys are really awesome, and I've given them to my manager for an emergency, but we have not needed to use them as of yet.Overall, this set is awesome if you are looking for something like this for access prevention at work!

I needed a couple of lock-out locks for my workshop since my grandson has been out there more and more lately and it is just easier to lock them off when he is here so we can avoid any injuries, etc, so I grabbed this when I saw it.It comes with 10 locks with their own keys, plus two keys that work on all the locks, which is what I am using. Since I won't be using it like a normal lockout/tagout box I decided to put the extra locks/keys into ziplocks and into the big drawer with my other locks/keys, and now I am using the awesome red box for a little portable tool kit for carrying my computer/electronics repair stuff around. This box is really well-made with sturdy metal and plexiglass, and a nice coat of durable-feeling paint.The locks all work as expected and turned easily and the keys all fit and work nicely (Note: they are lockout/tagout locks, so be aware of this if you just saw this and thought they would be good for locking other things up securely).
