Nice positive action. Much more easy-to-use solution for earthquake-proofing kitchen cabinets than regular child latches and much more effective than magnetic catches. The price is justified because they appear to be well made.Dropped a star because installation is a bit awkward. You have to get the front-to-back position just right and positioning the two parts relative to each other takes a bit of experience. I ended up making paper templates which greatly sped up the process of installing 20 latches!

These are very effective. Decent strength, positive and solid engagement when pushed close. Not too difficult to install, if you use some double sided tape to hold them in place while installing.

5 star latch 2 star priceWhoah! Silly me! Paid twice the going price here on Amazon. MC-37WHT -> hit up google and don't pay too much here even with shipping.Otherwise these latches are just what I was looking for to keep some cabinets shut (hopefully) in the event things start shaking here.

Working great. Order 65 sets and got good at aligning and setting the gaps. All still function with out issue.

We live in California earthquake country where everything is at risk of falling out of cabinets. The locks are sturdy and easy to use once installed. We had the same earthquake locks in our prior home and loved them. We're now using them in our new home.

Easy to install and works great. We used to have a metal push to open switch, but it was stiff and the small plastic hook on the door eventually got misaligned from the switch. The ball mechanism in this latch seems to work much better and easily releases when you push it in.

Strong hold. Opens to nicely balanced push. Fairly easy installation. Ball separates from base so you can mark it's location. No problems.
