My bird loves it. I wish I would have got one years ago for him. My only issue is that it makes and intermittent noise. I assume this is when the heating element is being powered. Its not loud enough for my phone to capture, but if you have ever heard the sound of a power adapter going bad it is very similar. I tried 2 seperate identical devices and they both made the sound. Also the fact that its right next to my bird I feel bad for him to have to hear that all night. Kinda makes me nervous to leave it plugged in while I am not home

This heater barely warmed up and has a buzzing/humming sound.Don't know if this is defective but it definitely is not useful as a heater for my birds..
