I previously had a salad spinner that you had to pump down on top top to make it spin. It was difficult to keep doing that motion to dry the lettuce. This salad spinner is so easy to use by turning the handle in a circular motion. It also has a nice draining feature without having to take the lid off.I’m so happy with this product!

I decided it was time to retire the 20 year old tupperware spinner, and I am glad I did! This Shatomo Salad Spinner works so well, I wish I would have upgraded a long time ago. I just used it to clean some grapes, and it worked so smoothly. Once I took it out of the box and washed it, I added the grapes, water, and a little veggie cleaner and spun that knob! The spinner took off so fast, I hardly had to put any muscle into it. I decided to give the stopper a try and it my goodness it stopped on a dime. After giving it a few spins both directions, I rinsed the grapes a couple of times using the nice drain on the lid. Once the extra water was out, I gave it a couple more spins to drain everything thing out and they grapes were as dry as could be expected, and a paper towel took care of stray drops of water. My grapes have never been so shiny!I also appreciate the attention to detail on this spinner. I appreciate the counter gripper on the bottom of the spinner. The counter grip ring makes holding on the to the spinner while it's spinning a breeze. I also love the drain on the lid! The base bowl has a high point on it to hold up the internal bowl and it helps it spin. This spinner does everything it promises to do, and I feel like a lot of thought went into the design. They got it spot on!! This thing is great!

The salad spinner arrived in good condition. All surfaces were smooth and clean, no marks or protrusions and no off odors.It feels really solid, from the outer bowl to the basket. Our last one had a thin bowl and a very floppy basket that didn't last long, this one has some heft to it and is much sturdier.The lid fits snugly and the spinning mechanism feels tight with no slippage. The brake works instantly for those who just can't wait to get to their greens.I washed 5oz of mixed greens in 1 cup of water and put everything in the spinner. I twirled it for one minute and used the brake to stop it then collected the water from the bowl. I basically got all the water back. I did run the spun greens through again for another two minutes and let it stop on its own and ended up with less than a tablespoon of water at the bottom. The greens aren't towel dry but they're dry enough to go straight into a salad bowl and be pleasant to eat and not dilute the dressing.As an aside, I used 'prewashed' greens and notice the appearance of the water. I'm going to be using this a lot more often than I anticipated.I'm pleased. The operation is smooth, it's solid, it doesn't slip on the counter, it feels sturdy and of good quality and I absolutely love the color. Happy to have it.

I put water in it to wash lettuce and it cracked from top to bottom. Useless, don't waste your money.

I have had lots of spinners this one is different. Minimum effort, maximum results. This is the first one that ACTUALLY dried all the products I put in it. Even delicate raspberries can be dried in this spinner and they will not turn to mush because you have better control of the basket.On a side note; caught my husband using the spinner to spin out the excess water from his golf hats after he had washed them. Those hats were almost dry after the spin. 😱😂🤣

This is a fantastic product for keeping salads clean. It is easy to use and removes the majority of water from leaves and vegetables. Offered at an incredible price. Many times after washing, lettuce especially, water remains on the leaves. This often can cause the dressing to become too watery. This allows you to clear off the water without damaging the vegetable. Great for any item you clean that you want to remove excess water.

The size is great for me, perfect to use the strainer to Clean and then spin dry things like a whole head of lettuce, large container of strawberries, dry beans- you get the picture. It’s kind of fun to use- spin the knob & arm then push the button to stop suddenly. All items dry quicker. Produce Lasts Longer!

I liked the way it looked, and it is study, but after spinning and spinning the lettuce still isn’t dry, and the lid keeps coming off while spinning.
