started out ok..seemed to work fine..but 168 miles later ..will not pick up signal...anywhere,anytime, no way to tell if something wrong with sensor,or a break in cable or what...does not look like you can get just sensor to replace possible bad one or bad cable...not relly ready to shell out another 70 dollars for whole set up . .espe ially since this one faiked so quickly

Very easy to install, great quality, appreciate the mileage memory even if the main battery in the engine compartment is disconnected. I wonder how truly accurate it is but it is nice to have something to refer to after my original speedo broke. Used an autometer # 5204 (3-3/8”) gauge pod to mount.

I bought one of these units for our trucks, worked beautifully. Accurate and dependable. I o bought 2 more, just then the first one started blanking off. the one I bought ariived and never worked. Will not recommend

I bought one and installed it on a 1967 BSA A65 Motorcycle. The answer to the question “Will this speedometer work on/in vintage vehicles which have a Positive ground electrical system is “Yes” it will work. Simply connect the Red wire to Ground (+) and the Blue wire to Ignition (-) However, the backlight will not work when the orange wire is connected to the vehicles (-) headlight circuit. The backlight may be left permanently off with the orange wire not connected, or it may be wired so it is permanently on with the orange wire connected to (+) or if you wish, you may install a separate switch connecting the orange backlight wire to (+). Important! Be aware that the GPS coax cable connector will be live (-) and must be insulated so it cannot touch any (+) ground surface.

Easy 3 wire install ( power , ground , lighting ) it seems to find the GPS signal quickly . The first time it connected too about 30 seconds , then less then 3 after that. The only reasons I’m not giving it 5 stars is because 1) no tenths on the odometer and there is no trip meter. Other then that it’s operation is smooth and accurate.
