Haven't used just yet but excited to use on upcoming flight and cruise in Europe. Pleased with quality and appears to be durable.

Great luggage. No issues after 4 flights. Roll well. Easy to use. Roomy. Zippers work well. No dents or scratches yet. Clean easily on the outside.

We have been looking for this particular set of Samsonite luggage for our daughter for months, but we couldn't find the green color at the right price. Leave it to Amazon to have them! She loves her new set and will be using them for a long time. They are durable, look amazing, and provide her with the space she needs for the different types of travel she takes i.e. longer trips versus shorter trips. Recommend this set!

The suitcases themselves came stacked in a box. They are very durable and seem to be quality made products. The extra items I didn't find necessary, but it was cheaper to purchase with them than without. The suitcases' maiden voyage was across the US from the East Coast to the Rocky Mountains. The spinners work wonderfully and made navigating the airports a breeze. The carry-on fit in the overhead compartment nicely, and each of the suitcases hold a large amount of items. Both of us packed in the large suitcase for a 5 day trip with all the bathroom essentials minus the bathroom sink. :)

My husband and I do a lot of traveling. My traveling is mostly to Japan and back to Denver. This set refuses to quit. Because of the construction and materials used in making the suitcase, I don't have to worry about scratches or dents. I recently bought the exact same set again, for my husband since he is now retired. My first set has nothing wrong with any of the pieces and still looks good. I pack my suitcases full to bring souvenirs to family in Japan and then I go shopping in the big mall at the airport in Japan and fill the suitcases with things that either I want for myself or to give as souvenirs (before I drop them off to get tagged). I love the Samsonite brand and this set in particular. I took a side by side picture so you could see how well it held up. If I had wiped down my 10+ years old suitcase with a conditioning agent, you probably couldn't tell which one was used. I use the biggest one for my overseas trips and the other two for stateside travel.

I purchased a full 3 piece set of this luggage from Samsonite to use initially on a two week trip to europe (for 3 adults) earlier this year. I used to travel frequently for business and have several Tumi, Hartman, Briggs, and other high end traditional luggage piecs that i have purchased over the past 20+ years, but I was attraced by the light weight of these bags and since i haven't needed to buy a new bag in several years, it was worth a try. While its hard to tell how long they will hold up, we had no issues with the construction of these bags (ask me in 10 years) and we were able to take advantage of the weight savings to pack more stuff in less bags saving baggage fees that we might otherwise incur. The large piece is so big and light that we stuck a duffel bag in it in case we ended up comming home with more stuff than we took (of course nd we did). Careful- Its very easy to overpack with this bag- if you fill it 3/4 with clothes you will be at/near the 50Lb limit on most flights. My only gripes (minor) are that the a) wheels are small and hard, and b) samsonite does not provide any teathering device to allow you to daisychain multiple bags. The small/hard wheels cause problems when trying to manage a bag on less than perfectly smooth surfaces (cracks in sidwalks cause the wheels to jump - cobblestone is a nightmare with the large bag). Combined with the inability to daisy chain bags makes it unweildy to handle more than one bag at a time. Most of my other high-end bags address both of these issues much better. The issue is more pronounced with the large 28 inch bag then the smaller carryon - I would not rule out the luggage based on this, just saying it could be improved upon.Additonally - Samsonite has frequent sales- I bought the entire set for less than the price of a Tumi carry on at the Tumi outlet- FOR THE MONEY, i find it difficult to complain about the value of this set. Further to the point, if the set only lasts a couple of years, i would not have a problem replacing it- at this point the return on investment is alot shorter. YMMV...
