So it works good definitely for the money super lightweight. Definitely recommend a guard would’ve gone with a steel blade but you know can’t really afford a $400 blade versus a 40 $50 one made from aluminum. I’ve used a few different sizes but with the 8 1/2 I definitely get the best speed I’ve used a predator 212 cc and the 8 1/2 I get about I want to say it was either maxed out at 16 miles an hour with a 14 foot boat And when I switch the motor to a 15 hp I started getting 25 to 27 miles an hour with 8 1/2 in prop so I’m content with it definitely went up because the smaller props definitely didn’t give me as much thrust and I had two of them snap in half but these 8 1/2 half inch are really sturdy
