The glass shattered, leaving shards and tiny pieces embedded in the canvas. I had assumed this had safety glass, but nope, just regular old glass. The hood vibrated off the shelf in my shop and shattered when it hit the floor.Amazon wants more for replacement glass than the mask cost in the first place.

I got this Hood , hat, respirator so when I'm prepping concrete to lay epoxy I do not have to breathe the concrete not only that it keeps the Dust out of my hair and off my face. Love this thing for health reasons and convenience it works better than a regular respirator that just wraps around your face. Will definitely be using this for all kinds of work sandblasting, sanding wood, and definitely using it a lot for detailing concrete.

Nothing fancy, just a functional, useful piece of safety gear. I can't believe I almost forgot to get one, it's been a while since I have blasted. The price is right as well, plenty affordable, certainly cheaper than the obvious alternative of an ER bill.
