It is a larger hose. The quality is outstanding! The hose, clamps, and fitting are far superior to ones I’ve used over the years! Worth the money!

It clearly states it has an “Automatic Float Switch”. It does not. You can fit your own, but it absolutely did not come with one. Perhaps that was/is in the fine print somewhere, but I couldn’t and still cannot see that specified anywhere.The reality is, pretty much any and every bilge pump can be retrofitted with a float switch. I was looking for one that actually HAD one onboard, or at least included as part of the design. I could have purchased another pump for half the price and spent the remainder on a decent float switch. But nope, now I have to fork out a few extra dollars for a float switch and fit it. Not that big of a deal or a job, just annoying when you’re expecting something onboard-included.Edited: 3 months after purchase and using the pump a total of 4 times for a combined usage time of

Have this on my 10' pond boat. Use it fill fill my make-shift live well and to pump out rainwater. Upgraded from an 800gpm that had a larger footprint; this one fits the nooks and crannies better to get a more complete evacuation of excess water. Have used to drain hulls completely filled by hurricane and storm water.
