The stabilizer I was using on my recurve bow was just a little too light. I added one of these stackable stabilizer balls & my bow balanced out perfectly.

Great dampening response to higher frequencies and a fantastic “isolation” tool between main Stabilizer and the riser of the compound bow.

This stabilizer ball is reasonably well made and seems like decent quality overall. The problem is that it does absolutely nothing to dampen vibration (at least not on an Olympic recurve). I'm using two of them and they have zero effect on vibration. Maybe they do something for compound bows? Dunno. I guess I'll have to try one of the more expensive options for my dampening needs.
