I used to use Schmelt sewing machine needles, but they are over priced, switched to these Organ needles. They working just a good and I can replace them after each sewing project without breaking the bank.

This is probably the best brand of needles if you need this style. I've been so happy with them relative to other brands and this 10 pack of 10 packs is probably the best value for a reasonable amount. (100 is practically a lifetime supply). A good fresh needle is like sewing through butter, very satisfying. One complaint - Amazon mailed them in a bubble mailer and the 10 pack was loosely shoved in a little plastic bag so there was no stability. If they're been wrapped tightly they may have had each other for a little rigidity. Yes they are metal but they need to be absolutely precise. A slight bend that is imperceptible even at 8x magnification is enough to make it jam up and not run correctly. The middle packs of the bunch are probably fine but I'm worried about all the needles in the outer packs being damaged and I won't know till I try to use them. Still a good deal, just a bit of a bummer.

I have had these before and they are just what I need. Work well and last a long time ( don't go dull very fast like some do. My machine is an embroidery and sewing machine and therefore I use a lot of needles. These needles are great.

El empaque llegó abierto por la revisión de la aduana, pero completo y en buenas condiciones, excelente calidad de las agujas. Mucho más baratas que en las mercerías. Sin duda las volvería a comprar.

I've been sewing for almost 15 years. One thing I hate is spending a lot of money on supplies. I'm cheap when it comes to sewing which is funny because sewing isn't cheap. I got tired of buying replacement needles at high prices from my local craft stores. So I decided to see about buying the more commonly used size needles in bulk. I was a little skeptical of these but decided to give them a try. I was surprised at the quality of these. They are all very well made. They aren't bent, are rusted and are very sharp. I didn't notice any imperfections in the tips that could cause snags or other damage to your material. I have a Kenmore sewing machine I bought about 13 years ago. These needles fit in the machine just fine. I haven't had any trouble with them yet. I love having a steady supply of needles on hand for those unexpected occasions when a needle breaks. It'll be awhile before I run out.

These needles have been working very well for me. I have gone through quite a few of them but they work quite well for the piecing I do for quilts. I really like the amount you get for the price. Can't find a better deal anywhere else!

The Organ brand of needles came with my Brother Designio machine and since I have had not problems, I decided to stick with it. Since I am only an occasional sewer, 100 needles of one size seemed to be a lot to purchase but the price was right so my only decision was to pick a size. After checking some sewing blogs as well as the Brother listing of needle type and uses, it appeared that the 80/12 would be a good choice for most medium weight fabrics. It was right between two of the sizes provided with the machine and since my sewing material varies, I wanted a size that I could just install and forget for most items. So far, I have used this size on stretch fabrics, woven fabrics, knits and weights as heavy as corduroy with no broken needles and very nice stitches.

I have a Singer Futura Embroidery Machine, and I am an amateur embroidery hobbyist. I started by buying expensive (I guess, if you call 5 bucks expensive) needles by Singer that were just for embroidery. A salesperson at a fabric and craft store said that I could use any needle, but I was skeptical. I bought these on Amazon due mostly to the low price. It was a cheap gamble and I didn't care if it didn't work out. This was a great investment! The needles last longer than my Singer needles and work on fleece, towels, and knits. I made pillowcase monograms, and the needlework looked better using these than with my previous "high end" needles. I may still buy ballpoint for lighter knits, but I usually embroider heavier fabrics. These last about twice as long without breaking. My autothreader still works. No complaints in any way. Buy!

I needed something to get $25 worth of free shipping items and I had this item in my wish list. Organ makes really good sewing needles and was recommended by the company that made my sewing machine. I thought maybe the number of needles was a typo since the price was so good. I was really pleased when they arrived and there really was 100 of them! I don't feel guilty about "wasting" a needle now when I change one that is still working fine, but the best sewing teachers say to change the needle after 6 hours of continuous sewing, so now I can.
