This loom gives you a change to learn about weaving on a scale that is manageable. Kids can complete a project before they get too bored. Not suitable for really young children, but preteens can use it.

My partner teaches weaving to a variety of different age of students and actually learned on a similar loom. I ordered this one to be able to examine the quality and see how it compared to the ones she is presently ordering for classes. This example is a very nice and is made of good quality hardwood. It has all the same features of the other looms she has been using, but this one comes with some excellent extras. In particular this one comes with a couple of shuttles, a pair of beater combs to help pack the yarn into place. These accessories are a big plus since you need them to weave even as a beginner so this is a much better deal and will be her new loom for the classes she teaches.

It's a nice little loom set to get someone started with weaving. It comes with the things you need. It would be great for a kid looking to learn weaving or for someone who doesn't have a lot of space. It is all wooden, which I love. It would be the perfect size to make wall hangings on for a teenager or kid.

This is very much a dollar store type item. Spend a few bucks more and get something a little better

I liked working this weaving loom. It wasn't a bad little set as a beginner. I do wish they had included a few more instructions than the ones included is my only complaint.This will leave you wanting to get the higher priced and bigger looms as you continue to get comfortable using the product.I can recommend this loom.

When we opened the box after Christmas, it had already been used. It had already been started with several rows woven.

This is by no means a great weaver and it doesn’t pretend to be. It’s most likely going to be offered to a child and it is perfect for that. It will interest a child into making something that can be worn, most likely a short scarf. The child will be proud and that is what counts. You provide self esteem, the satisfaction of having done something and it also shows the work that is involved into making common goods.
