Works really well. The arms are adjustable so it’s really easy to use compared the to fixed arm models.

This tool did a great job with my 2001 Integra trailing arm bushings but it didn't fit my 92 Integra trailing arm bushings. The 92 has larger bushings so this tool only pushes against the rubber. There are other tools sold on amazon that work for both models and are cheaper than this tool. If you don't need the other size, this tool is great.

Best $130 I have ever spent ...Let me share some thoughts --This is based on a 2001 CRV. The symptoms of a bad trailing arm bushing (TAB) is that the car rolls and rocks side to side on the highway.. kind of like when a big truck passes you or there's a strong cross wind. These this are known to wearout - 70-150k miles. If you grab the trailing arm with the car in the air you can sometimes see the side to side movement. These TABs are used on a bunch of hondas etc. In these designs the bushing is pressed in .. in the old days you had to remove the entire trailing arm and press out on bench (4hours labor). but with this toll you can do it on the car ... Now there's a lots of videos on youtube how to do this but for the 1997-2001 CRV - this is what you do.(1) list rear of car so wheels of ground, remove wheels(2) remove lateral link at bolts at body -- watch for any camber shims between the body and the link(3) loosen the toe link bolts -- but do not remove,(4) remove the two TAB bolts(5) pull the trailing arm down.. it will be low enough to put on tool -- note you may need to disconnect brake line bracket/parking break bracket on trailing arm.(6) measure the distance from the TAB to the trailing arm --- you new TAB will have a white line on it --- mine were in the wrong place and I suspect since the same generic part is used on different cars, the depth is non generic ... if you assemble and find you cant line up the TAB bolts, its because its not pressed in the right depth.(7) spray TAB with PB laster - let sit a few minutes(8) Use toold as described --- it took 5 minues make to push out the TAB(9) Clean the hole with emery and brake cleaner, lubricate it and the TAB(10) Install the new TAB to the measured depth -- not the white painted lines.(11) reassemble --- watch the rear axle -- it can pull out .. just push it back in, you may need to wiggle it a bit to get the splines to line up.It helps to spray the PB blaster the night before...

Although this tool is probably not "professional grade" (Snap On quality for everyday shop use.) it is excellent for it's designed intention and can probably be used for several jobs. It literally took me 20 minutes per side to press out the old bushing and press in the new one. Getting to the RTA bushing is a different story however, which took me a total of about 1.5 hours (perhaps a little more) per side to drop and re-install the rear trailing arm. You have to disconnect the emergency brake cable to get the trailing arm to drop low enough in order to work on the bushing. I pressed in the recommended Honda rta bushing P/N 52385-SR3-003 into my 94 Integra which I have heard went through some changes from the original SR3-000. You should source the TSB #00-006 dated March 31, 2006 for more information for this is a common failure. My mechanic quoted me $398 labor for this job which I think is waaay too much and they will NOT adjust their estimate if they complete the job under the estimated time. You can do this bushing replacement in one afternoon and make it very easy with the Schley bushing X-tractor/Press. The Honda TSB quotes this job as 1.8 hours to replace both bushings (op code # 419102) and 0.6 hours for a rear wheel alignment (op code # 431311). Save yourself some time while doing this safely and correctly.

This tool made it possible for me to change the RTA bushings on my '93 Civic without removing the trailing arms from the car, however the instructions were not much help. They mentioned an eight inch spacer but did not show or explain where it should go. I found it easy enough to remove the old bushing but not until I removed the upper control arm mounting and ground a taper on the inner edge of the bushing did I succeed in proper installation. The second side took an hour and a half. I'm not telling how long the first one took. I do not have a lift. This was done working with jack and stands in the driveway. I figure I saved at least $250 by doing the job myself as compared to having a garage do it, and my wife's car will need bushings soon, so the tool was well worth the price.This review is for the tool. The service from the seller (who does not regularly sell this item) was first rate.===I have since replaced the trailing arm bushings on another car, a '97 Civic. This time the job went very well and probably took no more than three hours for both sides. In my opinion you'd be a fool to pay someone the price they ask to do this job. Buy the tool and do it yourself. Google search "Replace Honda Civic Trailing Arm Bushings" and watch a few of the videos. That should be all the information you need to make a good job of it.
