great quality must do a lot of sewing to get you usage from these needles .. as good as quilt shop 5 pack needles will buy again when they are used up.

Schmetz is the only brand of sewing machine needle I buy. The only time I have ever had one break was when I set my needle alignment up incorrectly for the presser foot I was using. This was completely user error on my part, and not any malfunction from the needle. These needles are always sharp; penetrating fabrics well without dragging or damaging the fabric. Schmetz also has a ballpoint needle for knits or delicate fabrics. I have tried other brands, but none have performed as well as Schmetz.

After trying several different brands of needles, this brand works best for my Brother Innovis embroidery machine. The needles are long lasting and I don't have trouble with tangling as with other brands and the cost is terrific.
