I bought this for my students to use for drawing in my 4th grade classroom. It's a good basic drawing paper. It's is a little on the thin side, so it is better for pencil or crayon. Markers bleed through.

The paper I got was not heavy paper ("50 lb"), but quite light paper. I assume this was a mistake, unless 9x12 size uses a different scale of weight than does 8-1/2x11.Also, the package was slightly stained, and about 50 sheets of paper, with a liquid that had a strong Javex smell. All in all, the item was utterly useless to me. I didn't raise a ruckus because I needed the paper for Christmas Cards and any replacement would have been too late. Very off-putting, though.
