Did the job just fine. I was expecting it to be elastic though. You have to unsnap every time you take the helmet off with this product, and it can be difficult for younger kids to snap/unsnap without help. I remember when I played mine was elastic and you could just stretch it out and slide your helmet on or off easily. If your child is younger, maybe get elastic for ease of use

Not a very sturdy chin guard. Would be ok for young players, but for my 4th grader was not sufficient.

The product is fine and works, it doesn’t have metal snaps. It looks like it does in the photo. The snaps are plastic. I think most are, but I was looking for metal.

I bought this for my 11 year old daughter who plays ASA. It is well made and she loves it. It fits very comfortably on her chin. I had trouble finding it in sports stores in my area. It was very inexpensive so I was a little disappointed that shipping cost was more than the item but I had no choice.
