It is kind of easy to use at least for the most part. It's hard to twist and move around so it was a little bit difficult to get it set up, but after you get it to the right position it closes and opens easily. It worked perfectly for my regular size bike and it reached the pole and everything without any issues. I just wish there was a little bit easier to twist when they're trying to set it up.

As a mid weight cable it is plenty heavy duty and the lock works well. The storage hanger for your bike is an extra plus for this price.

Chose over a bunch of other cheap short term locks purely because of the brand. Forgot that classic quality brand names can be bought by Chinese companies who pump out garbage. Avoid this one at all costs, you can do better with literally any other choice at the price point. I reckon I could cut through it with a bread knife in seconds

I locked my electric scooter with this but couldn’t secure it . It easily got cut by thieves.

This level 5 U-Lock + Cable is an affordable bike lock that acts as a good deterrent to non-professional bike thieves. It's much cheaper than Kryptonite locks so it may not be as strong as the Kryptonite locks but so far it does its job of keeping my bike safe in the college campus (fingers crossed). Overall, this is a 4-star product but I'm knocking off 1 star because the U-Lock I initially received was extremely difficult to get it into the perfect position to be able to turn the key to lock it. Sometimes I would spend a long time (like 5 minutes to 10 minutes) just to lock it. I was late for my classes on several occasions. My friend also tried to help me lock it and had a hard time as well. None of my friends' bike locks have this problem. Eventually, I was fed up with it and returned it for a replacement. So far, the new replacement has been working great and I can lock it in 1 try. Maybe the first one was damaged and misaligned during shipping because it was shipped in a bag without any protection.

Works great, key and the locking mechanism is extremely simple yet works pretty well. I like the double cuts on both ends of the shackle. A thief would likely have to do two cuts on this ULock because this lock doesn't allow for enough rotation if only one end of the shackle is engaged with the locking pawl... Good design.The lock holder that mounts to the bike is extremely loose and rattles when you're riding around (so does the actual ulock), so plan on getting a new one if that bugs you. The shackle is 12mm thick and is at the very least case hardened (scratched it a few times with a hacksaw)Now, I actually plan on keeping my bike for my time throughout college so I have 3 locks on my bike. If you actually care about your bike just know two things:-cable locks are garbage-strength in numbers
