  • Ergonomic pipette design ensures an excellent operating experience and the volume display is easy-to-read. MicroPette is designed for in-house service and is easy to calibrate and maintain with tool supplied. The plunger requires low operating force to aspirate and dispense liquid, reducing user fatigue and thumb muscle activity. 1 Year Warranty.
  • Pipette can be fully autoclaved at 121°C, 1 atm, 20 minutes for decontamination and sterilization. MicroPette can be autoclaved without any special preparation. After autoclaving the pipettor must be cooled down and left to dry for 12 hours.
  • MicroPette uses universal pipette tips. Integral tip ejector allows for access into narrow tubes and makes tip changes quick and easy.
  • All Scilogex pipettes are quality tested for precision per ISO8655-2:2002 and are supplied with individual calibration certificates. Quality control includes gravimetric testing of each pipette with distilled water at 22°C.

To draw 2ml of liquid the pipette needs to be set to .85ul / unable to recalibrate within range. That being said once set to .85 it will pull 2ml of liquid consistently.

I've used these same pipettors on the job for years and they perform to the same standards as any other I've used. Now that I have my own company, and costs to control, this pipettor was a no brainer for the quality and price. Been using it a couple months now and its still rock solid. If you need a good, basic, broad-range pipettor, you can't go wrong with this one.

Great for the price. I was looking for a cost efficient 5 ml pipettor. This one works well and is pretty consistent. I ordered universal replacement tips from Cole Palmer. They do work, but they are very tight and you really have to push to get them on, so I would recommend looking elsewhere for matching tips. I run a lot of repetitive samples where I have to measure 5 ml over and over, so I am very excited about having this.

This pipette is great but it does not product much pressure so for more viscous fluids it takes forever to draw with this product. Other than that, the product is great and I would definitely purchase again with the understanding that it would be used for primarily runny solutions.

Terrible. I ordered two. The first one broke after light use after a couple of months. The second broke a few mins out of the box. The internal mechanism that changes the volume doesn't work well. I suggest spending more dough on a better model. .

Came quickly, seems to work fine with a smooth aspiration of various liquids (tried it on water, glycerin, and sulfuric acid). No complaints here but, as mentioned in the Q&A, it increases in increments of 5ul but if you need anything more accurate, you probably should be using another pipettor anyhow.
