About this item

  • Fully adjustable wheel locking system that will accommodate virtually all scooters.

Our Scooter Chock is specifically designed to work with all scooters and mopeds, because of our patented fully adjustable cradle. It will work on scooter wheels from 8" up to 16", and from 80mm tires up to 120mm tires. The locking cradle mechanism safely and securely supports your scooter in an upright position on all transportation platforms. Attaching and detaching the unit takes only a few seconds. Tying down your scooter becomes a simple and easy task for one person. You will be amazed at how secure and safe your scooter will be once tied down, so you won't need to over-tighten the straps and risk damaging sensitive suspension components.

Chock was delivered quickly and was easy to assemble. Holds two wheelers firmly in place, is secure enough you could get away with no restraining straps but with them, even more steady

I have to haul my Vespa a couple hours once a year to get serviced. I didn’t want to permanently install chock in my trailer for a once a year chore. With a piece of black foam rubber underneath, this alternative was perfect. She rode along straight and secure. Highly recommend for a scooter.

This wheel chock is very well made and sturdy. Very easy to adjust and to then lock those changes into place. I'm using it for 10 inch scooter wheels which most wheel chocks handle poorly, but this one is great. I'll warn you however that it needs to be mounted to something that can't move when you put the scooter wheel in and *especially* when you try to pull the wheel out. You have to jerk the scooter fairly hard to get the wheel released out of the chock.

Works extremely well. Well built. Holds my scooter in without me worrying about transport. Missing some washers in package though. An inconvenience because I had to go buy them. Emailed seller. They said they would look in the shop for some. Never got them. Emailed the manufacturer because the screw holes in the mounting plates were rusting after a week of install on my trailer. No response. I did get good reviews from the 2 Vespa dealers I visited though.

I bought this to put on my flatbed trailer so I can haul a Kymko Super 8 150x.The super 8 initially seems to be between two possible sizes on the wheel chock, but the good news is that it is even more secure as a result.I have had no problems using the chock and it holds the bike securely while I tighten it down with the ratchet straps. I have loaded it multiple times now by myself with no issues. This is a great chock!

Kept the 500-pound scooter stable from the time I rolled it into the chock. I had trailered the scooter without the chock in a UHual motorcycle trailer with a built-in chock, but I did not like the way the bike leaned. I got the Condor chock with the extended feet to use in a UHual motorcycle trailer. This set-up fits well in the built-in chock in the trailer. The Condor chock does not slide way up into the trailer's built-in chock like I'd hoped, but it is plenty good enough.I was glad I had the extended feet. But you might not need them, because the front one slides about 1/4 inch under the sides of the built-in chock in the trailer. It's a real tight fit, which is good for staying in place. The feet that came with the Condor chock would also fit under that; this might be enough (with your straps) to prevent the Condor chock tipping sideways. You'll feel a lot safer with the wider feet, though, if you can't drill into the trailer bed. When the box arrives, the description on the sides is for another product. But on one end of the box is a list of other products, and yours will be checked. Kind of an odd way to save money on packaging. You will not want to leave the Condor chock sitting in the rental trailer when there is no bike in it. Too much risk that it will be stolen. You'll want a very sturdy duffle bag to put the Condor chock and its big feet in so you can put the bag in your tow vehicle. You'll need a separate bag for your straps and bungee cords.I used a Canyon Dancer with Ancra straps, tie-downs and bungee cords (to take up the slack in the straps), and DMM Zodiac Keylock carabiners with the wide end down to keep the lock locked (NOT the S hooks in the straps). I also recommend an old bicycle tire cut into two pieces, one for each side of the ramp, which otherwise bangs loudly against the trailer at every bump in the road.Leave the front end of the bike loose enough so that its suspension can work. Otherwise, you will have a noisy ride. This takes some faith in the chock and the Canyon Dancers. My 200-mile ride home was smoother than my ride out, because I had faith by then.

I transported two Vespa scooters across the country (and back) on a small flatbed trailer. I built the wooden deck myself then installed two of these Condor chocks. Used handlebar harnesses and ratchet straps to tie down, but the real security came from these wheel chocks. They are very easy to install (two metal plates per chock, which came with the chocks, mounted to the trailer frame and deck to receive the screws that hold the chocks in place - this makes the chocks removable easily - the bolts that came with chocks were too short to go through both the deck and the frame - no big deal, I bought longer ones at Lowe's - you do need to drill holes to mount these plates, also no big deal). They are heavy and solid. The bikes stand up just with the front wheels rolled into the chocks. You do have to be careful rolling your bike up onto the trailer and into the chock. But once you're in, you can let go of the bike (can't knock them over even if you try) and harness the handlebars and strap down. Then you're off. There are other ways to do this, less expensive ways for sure. It was hard to spend the money, but I am very glad in retrospect that I did. If you're going to do any serious Vespa transport, I recommend spending the extra bucks to get these. These are made with small scooter wheels in mind.
