I like the versatility offered by this scoring board. It offers a larger work space but can be folded for storage and for use with smaller projects. I have my dedicated cutters so I actually haven't used it as a trimmer, but I am sure it will work as expected in a pinch.

Sorry, I thought the material it was made with was a little sturdier than this. I wish the clear guide was able to click in place and not move. Maybe ,its me but when you score it doesn't score that well. Not to happy with it. no pictures sorry, all the paper that I cut are now scraps because it didn't score the way some of the others do.

This is a versatile tool that can be used as a scorer or a paper cutter. I love that it can expand so it can accommodate larger paper sizes or fold up to save space. It’s a bit heavy compared to some of my other paper cutters but I don’t mind. I tested the cutting blade with some 12x12 scrapbook paper and it worked great — straight cut with no tearing. My only concern is finding replacement blades for it when this one gets dull; I wish an extra blade had been included. Other than that, though, I’m pleased with this paper trimmer and scoring board.

I needed a paper trimmer because my old one broke and it couldn't be fixed..I really don't feel like I need the scoring part right now,but it's nice to have if I need one later..and the little scoring tool that comes with it is a nice touch too...I thought it was kind of small when I got it,but then I realized you needed to unfold it and it has two levers on the back that you need to have in place so that the board will stay unfolded while you're using it..so far it hasn't ripped any paper I've put through it,but I've found if you push the blade down and then move up or down really fast it doesn't tear the paper

This is a great board to get precise edges on whatever craft project you do. I hate when I trim paper and its slightly wonky. It drives the ocd side of me up a wall and I find myself in a loop of trying to get it perfectly even. This cutter with the board attached is an excellent way to be sure its done right the first time. I really like the ability to make perforated lines in the spots I need to cut rather than writing on the papers. Its priced competitively with other similar products I have found online.

I have used a lot of cutting boards and this is up there with the name brands. I also have used different score boards. This one is great with a few caveats. I wish the scoring tool was a bit bigger. I also would like the scoring lines just a bit deeper. I do worry that the catches on the back that lock the board into the open position may get lost because they do pull out easily. However, overall this is a good board at a reasonable price.

I had a scoring board before getting this, but it wouldn't hold a large size pieces of paper such as the common 12" x 12" cardstock. It comes folded and when you unfold it, on the back there are two green gadgets/locking pins that you can push to hold the board in an open position and when you want to put it away, just push them the other direction. It comes with its own scoring plastic knife. I tried it out with some scraps and was able to score them the way I wanted. I did notice that at the ruler lines (they use both metric and imperial) there isn't always a a score line at the right spot. If you use a metric and imperial ruler a lot like I do, you know that their measurements don't always line up at the same place. I did like having the space to score a bigger sheet. I did use the cutting knife and didn't notice any problem. When I pulled it over a minute ago to write the review, I noticed that the cutter was no longer in its spot. It wasn't even with the scoreboard! I found it quickly and to put it back in where it belonged, I had to gently push the clear edge of the cutting spot to get it back in. I have bad arthritis in my hands, so if I can do something easily like popping the cutter back in, it is easy. I look forward to using this more. I have and use several cutters all of which have good and bad points. My small scoreboard didn't come with a cutter. I suspect that I will use my other cutters most of the time as one of them has the measurements for different size cards on it while this one doesn't. You only get 12" on two sides and 31cm on two sides. Some of the other cutters have more than one type of cutter to get different effects.I appreciate the opportunity to try this board out. Not impressed, the razor drags and tears my paper no matter what I try it on. Don't buy. Only good for scoring paper.
