Easy enough to spray on. Make sure you're in a well ventilated area. I don't know what they think "odorless" means. But if you use this in your car, Crack your windows for SEVERAL hours. I also recommend at least 2 coats (not both at the same time). When I did only one coat, it let a stain set in. Took expensive cleaner and about an hours work to get it out. 2 coats seems to be a magic number that does work.

Excellent product. Easy to apply. I used on light grey car mats 6 months ago and they still look like new and clean very easily. Recommended.

Easy to apply, wasn't too smelly during application, did not affect the look of the car fabric, and dried quickly. Followed the directions precisely and was able to spray two thin layers across the front seats and front floor mats of my SUV before the can ran out. You probably need 2-3 cans to spray the entire interior of a midsized car. Bought my car recently and this seemed like a cheap and easy way to add some protection to the interior.

Decent price and seems to be working well. Got our car detailed and wanted to give the upholstery some extra protection this winter. So far, so good (a month and several trips to the mountains later). I'll likely reapply in the late spring before the summer starts. If you spend a lot of time in the outdoors with dirty boots and kids, etc. (and driving there and back), I think this is a must. I guess you could do it with plastic tarps and blankets over everything in your car, too, but this is easier. Just be sure to apply as directed and have ample ventilation - you definitely don't want to be breathing this. Oh, and leave your windows open while it dries: do it before you do yard work, leave your windows open while you work and when done park your car in the garage and leave your windows open overnight.

Fast delivery. Enough quantity in canister to cover all seats and carpets in a family size car.

Purchased on sale so very pleased on price . Product is as advertised . Lasts well too but they suggest you touch up or reapply when you clean the inside a few times a year . Spills will bead up . Further other nasty's will not stick as easy and whipe up easier like chocolate , lipstick , the things that shouldn't but do come in contact with interiors . I suggest buying a few extra cans just store inside at room temp . I like to do the humps between mats . Did the two light coats with a day between and leaving the windows down in the garage overnight . Just as good as paying $250 for fabric protection at the dealer and the time to put it on is when the seats are new , clean and not stained . If you ever eat in your car then this is a must have ..period . You will be happy the first time you spill anything . Even works on the floor carpet but again you will seal in dirt so everything must be as clean as it can get before applying . Otherwise enjoy !

Have used 3M products as fabric protectors for MANY YEARS (decades) and never had a problem (will NEVER consider using anything EXCEPT the 3M- I've seen the messes that cheaper products can do. It is still a good practice to apply a small amount on an area which CANNOT be seen and double check to verify there is no problem with color bleeding with the fabric from the 3M being applied (never had it happen, but there's likely a cheaply died fabric waiting out there to make a liar of that statement- do the check and prevent a disaster.Unless the seat or whatever you are protecting is BRAND NEW, make sure you clean the seal/item THOROUGHLY first. If in doubt, clean it again. If you don't and any stain is left behind, DO NOT apply the 3M Scotchgard as you WILL SEAL in that stain, making it very PERMANENT. Check the seat, carefully; if in doubt, clean it again. Normally a clean cotton towel, with just plain tap water will do the job; going to alcohol or other fabric cleaners ONLY if needed to removed a special stain. AGAIN IF YOU APPLY 3M SCOTCHGARD OVER A STAIN,, that STAIN IS LIKELY THERE FOR LIFE. Surface Prep is HALF the job. Applying the 3M is the other half.Always apply in a minimum of a 50% or less overlapping pattern, and done in two separate applications, allowing to dry the minimum recommended by 3M between coats. A day is always good, unless it still feels damp to the touch. Two or Three coats is better than ONE HEAVY application; as only so much will sink in per application in that fabric. Two coats. First coat is done NORTH-SOUTH, using the minimum 50% overlapping spray pattern, going from top to bottom of the seat or whatever is being protected (In my case, car seats in convertible sports car) ..Second coat- applied going in EAST -WEST direction, purpose being to maximize coverage to ensure that all fabric is 100% covered. Have done FOUR coats in the past; however, with just two relatively small bucket seats, TWO cans were used in total. Each can of 3M Scotchgard Fabric protector covering both seats for one coat / application.

When shopping for a new car recently I was looking for a leather or leather-like interior to resist spills and what not due to having a toddler (with another on the way). For the particular model I was looking at, it would have cost me way more than I'd like to spend just to get the seats I wanted because of automatic package upgrades for the vehicle. I looked into a more reasonably priced package (one with cloth seats) to save some cash and decided I'll just have to buy car seat covers. My uncle suggested I just get Scotchgard, and I'm thankful for his suggestion! I still ordered seat covers but they weren't scheduled to come in for some time so I got Scotchgard as a backup just in case any spills happened. And of course, spills did happen and were easy to clean up! I cleaned the spills up pretty quickly after it occurred so I couldn't say how the product performed after the liquid was sitting there, but Scotchgard allowed me enough time to grab a towel and soak it up before it began to settle into the upholstery. It worked so well that I will be looking into Scotchgarding the upholstery in my house! In a home with children, this is a must for your car (if you want to keep your sanity)!
