Having to look at our remaining stockpile of tube free toilet paper at all of these options with cardboard tubes just feels so wasteful. We had a great solution and Scott appears to have killed it off.Sigh.

People! WHY are you still buying tp with a tube?? That is so 1999. Don't you know that the tube uses a lot of paper resources, just to pile up in your bathroom? No one has enough kid's art projects to justify them.Aside from these obvious benefits of tubeless tp, this tp is actually very nice on the hiney. It isn't like the scratchy, sandpaper/wrapping paper tissue combination that this brand also makes. It is think and soft and super absorbent. The price is good, and guess what else? NO TUBES to pile up in the bathroom. Also, because there is no tube to put your fingers in as you pull the tp off before setting it back down on the holder, everyone is 87% more likely to replace the tp on the holder instead of just putting it on top. That alone is worth the switch.

Best part is no cardboard. That's why I buy these!I've seen some complaints that the rolls are squished. When I've bought in stores they're squished too. Never causes any actual problems, and they're not always squished.Rolls are smaller than what I was getting in stores, but also fit into my TP roll holder better. Not the softest TP around, but personally I dont like super soft TP. Does fall apart a little so need a little more sometimes. Most of all, I haven't been able to find this in stores around me for a while now so super happy I can get this from Amazon. No more wasteful cardboard!!

I buy these because my husband can't change a roll of toilet paper to save his life and will leave the cardboard tube on the holder and the new roll on the back of the toilet. Drove me nuts. With this that's not an option! Also better for the environment. The paper is fairly good quality too. This is the only brand and type of toilet paper I will buy.Caution: your friends will think that you removed the cardboard for some reason. I've had to explain it to several people that I buy them this way ;)

I love this stuff. I first found it in a local grocery store, but discovered that most do not carry it. The "paper" is just as good as any other toilet paper, but this has one HUGE advantage: No Cardboard Roll! This means that rolls can be stored in a slightly smaller space because there is no empty space in the middle. This also means significantly less waste! I love that I am reducing the amount of recycling I must dispose of, but that came after realizing that with no center roll, I have to take the bathroom trash out MUCH less frequently.Whether you want to take the trash out less, reduce waste/disposal costs, or store more paper in a smaller space, this is a great product with all the quality and a significant reduction in trash/recycling.

I seriously, no joke, am in love with this toilet paper. I grew up with original scott which is like thinner tissue paper (you know the kind you put in gift bags) which I really hated once I became an adult and discovered softer toilet papers. But then we moved into a house with a septic system, and scott is better for skeptics than other 'soft' brands. So I was relieved to find this "cushioned soft" scott. This scott is thicker and more like a slightly tougher angel soft. But what I really love is the lack of tube! It takes some getting used to, but once you get past it, it is so much better. We have multiple types of toilet paper holders depending on the bathroom and used it successfully in them all. Bonus, no one can claim they didn't realize it was the end of the rolls because there is no tube, it is just gone. And no guilt about recycling or not recycling the tube. My auto delivery is not coming this month and I am legitimately upset that they want to send us toilet paper with a tube in it!!!!!

This toilet paper is awesome for multiple reasons:(1) No more figuring out what to do with all those cardboard tubes; our family is out of the grade school years, and those hollow tubes fill up the tiny bathroom waste cans fast. If you're trying to make a minimal effort toward reducing waste in your house, this is a no-brainer.(2) Scott's is the only brand we've used for years, since living with a marine toilet system, and now an elderly septic system. It's super easy on our septic, and still cushiony.I will note that depending on the bathroom, the toilet paper rolls usually just sit on the back of the tank (or in a cupboard under the sink), or in a basket on the floor next to the toilet. One of the baskets actually has a handle meant to put the rolls on, but we don't bother to put it on. These rolls are more prone to being squished a bit, so they can take an extra minute to thread onto a toilet paper holder thing, especially if it's thick. Not a huge deal, but we're lazy, and switching to this style just cemented the whole "attractive bathroom basket" system. Seems to work just fine for everyone.I wish Amazon would offer this in a paper-wrapped Subscribe & Save bundle rather than the plastic, there are plenty of other bulk TP options wrapped without plastic. I personally think toilet paper is the killer app for Subscribe & Save, it has made running out of toilet paper a thing of the past in our household. Just wish it also meant I could get paper products without all the plastic wrapping.
