These small wool cloths are perfect for polishing my gemstones before I use them in jewelry making. Many gemstone beads, and even glass beads, have a dusty film on them when purchasing, and I used one of these soft cloths to take off that layer, and it was extremely effective, leaving no threads or residue. I also tried one of these with a small amount of polishing paste, and the lapis and quartz were cleaned and polished beautifully, bringing out the natural beauty of each stone. I was even able to clean and enhance rough sections of broken stone, to make a more vivid and interesting arrangement on my counter. I soaked the somewhat mangled cloth in a dishsoap and water mixture, and gently squeezed it out and laid it flat on a towel to dry. Ready for the next use! These will be excellent for my work, and are a convenient size to get into grooves and corners. Recommend.

I wanted to get some wool polishing cloths after watching a friend (who makes and sells jewelry) use one to shine some rings. I'd like to be able to clean and polish all of my jewelry the same way. These wool cloths appear to work quite well. I took them to my friend to get her more experienced opinion, and she likes them too. She polished one of her own rings in very little time using just one corner of a cloth. I may experiment with using one cloth on some of my leather, and using one on some of my silverware to see the results - I'm thinking they should work for both of those tasks. In any event, these do a good job on the metal and the stones of my rings.

These cloths work wonders on my gems and stones. I love polishing and these are super soft and pick up debris and remove marks. I really love these cloths and will be adding these to my tool box permanently.

I'm polishing some nickel-plated brass and nothing I had was buffing to a nice shine when I saw these and thought I'd give them a try.I do think they are more suited to jewelry and lapidary (had to look that latter one up) and for that work I can see the small, sturdy easily controlled polishing cloth would be well suited. But too small and contrived as a cloth to work for my project with a larger area needing buffing. But I tried. E for effort. These appear to be high quality cloths and I can see using them to polish all parts of a ring or necklace. I have some turquoise jewelry that I might give them a try on now that I've been introduced to them.

Got these to polish resin pieces with diamond paste and they work great! I haven't had to wash them yet, since I am using the same paste on the same type of resin and you get 4 pieces with the order, but I am sure they will hold up great. They have a nice weight to them and feel nice in my hand while I buff and polish my pieces. Best part is that they are less than $10 (at time of review) so I would absolutely order again!!
