It is so hard with what appear to be 5,000 revisions on laptop screens. With the info provided and the pictures this company made available, we/they got it right on the first try.

My touchscreen laptop got broken and it was an insanely new computer. The thought of having to replace it made me ill, until my tech friendly son told me the screen could be replaced. I purchased the parts and he replaced the screen, it’s like brand new again!! I’m one happy girl!!

This screen replacement fit perfectly, and came with a useful pry tool to separate screen frame from screen for removal. BUT…Replacing the screen on the HP all-in-one is not easy to do without breaking off some of the small retainer clips that hold the screen in place. I tried to be very careful, and still one or two of the clips broke, and I needed use glue to achieve a tight fit in a couple of places. I would not suggest doing this repair unless you’re comfortable replacing computer screens or cell phone screens.

I dropped my laptop and screen cracked earlier this year.Ordered this one for my HP 14-dw1033dx works perfect . Installation was so easy . No instructions on how to do it, but there is a video on YouTube on someone replacing the screen on a similar model and they are all the same ! Got it done in 20 min

Screen is an exact replacement for my hp pavilion 14m dw 0023dx laptop.I bought a computer screwdriver kit also, which is a must. Make sure it comes with pry tools. I took my time and had no real issues, except the old screen is hard to remove due to the tape and also metal clips that hold it onto the computer backing. I had trouble deciding if two metal clips were part of the computer back or part of the screen. YouTube was no help, because this computer is so new, no one has shown this exact repair. I decided to remove them, because they were only held in by tape and the new screen comes with tape on the back. I think it was the right move, as it snapped into the back. I could be wrong though. This repair was a little nerve wracking, only because I had never done it before and this is expensive if you screw it up. If I could have found someone to install it for $100, I probably would have gone that route. But I assumed it was going to be a lot more than that and I'm cheap. Also, there is one little doohickey computer board that you will need to take from your old screen and install it. You'll see what I mean, when you go to plug in the connectors, which are tiny. Be very careful and good luck.
