This item comes in a box with the screen itself packed in 3 usps cushioned item bags. It also comes with complimentary tools and tape, I did not use the tape because I'm a newbie and it didn't seem necessary. It also comes with some general instructions but I still reccomend watching a tutorial for your specific laptop. I ended up getting the matte version because I spend a lot of time on my laptop as an architecture student and I wanted something easy on the eyes and that offers some privacy in studio or elsewhere. The screwdriver is magnetic which is a major plus. I have a side by side of my laptop with the old screen still on and the new screen next to it and a picture of the newly installed screen after turning on my laptop.
