This is the cheapest screen replacement I found. Sure it got the job done. It does work and it was definitely better than replacing the whole laptop. The issue is that at the normal viewing angle the picture is kind of dull and foggy. If I tilt it back it does clear up, but at that point it to much of an angle. On the positive side it did come with all the necessary tools to complete the replacement. If I had to do it again, I might just spend the extra 20-30 bucks for a better screen.

My wife damaged the screen on her 15" HP laptop, so I purchased this replacement screen since it seemed the seller was well-liked and it was less than a new laptop. (The genuine HP screen was cost prohibitive) It was nice that it included tools, and the replacement process went pretty well, in spite of the fact that for her particular model there's a lack of specific Youtube videos or other sources of instructions out there.However, a major caveat is that you should take Amazon's advice and buy the double-sided tape that is sold separately for mounting the screen. The original screen on some models is held in with such tape, and this replacement screen surprisingly doesn't include any. Luckily, I had some regular 3M tape lying around, so I used that. Otherwise, I would've been waiting another couple of days with the wife's laptop lying around disassembled waiting on it to arrive.The screen compares favorably to the original, with similar color and brightness characteristics. The touch function works fine as well. I've had it installed for a couple of months now, and have experienced no issues. I would have given it 5 stars had it included the tape!

works great not that easy to install .need to be careful and follow instruction when taking the old one off and need double tape to hold the newnone to the frame .works great .if touch screen don't work u need to update driver for lcd before it have full touch screen capability

It was easy to install. It is so accurate that it brings the tools you need.An installation tip. Reuse the tape unless you have double-sided tape

I was really struggling with the idea of taking my laptop into a place to have the screen replaced but my husband convinced me otherwise. The fix was quick and easy and totally just as good as if I'd have paid an arm and a leg. I was skeptical especially because my screen is touch but this works just as well as the original. I'm thoroughly impressed and would buy this again if needed.

Easy isn’t the word I was able to replace my screen in just a few minutes. Saved me over $300 dollars and a whole lot of shipping back and forth. I received the screen the next day after I purchased. Tools were included and installation was super easy,I can’t say that enough.
