The Isolation Pack is a great add-on for anyone looking to increase the versatility of their X1 Series or sE2200 Series mic. The integrated quick-release mechanism at the base of the shock mount makes it easy to insert or remove a mic. No screws, no hassle, just one twist to secure or release. Made from metal (rather than delicate fabric), the pop filter can be vertically positioned to accommodate any of the above mics, or completely removed from the shock mount if desired.

I have two SE X1R ribbon mics. Their original little mic clips telegraph a ton of rumble into the mics, so I got these shock mounts. They work, and are pretty easy to mount and unmount once you get used to the feel of the twisty thingy on the bottom. No more rumble, so they do their job. And, adjusting the angle is easily done with a big thumb screw too. So, great usability. But, man, they're bulky (though light weight) and pretty cheap feeling. And, the pop filter looks like someone cut up some chicken wire for you to sing into. But, I don't need a pop filter so that doesn't bother me. In the end I would have preferred something smaller and simpler. If you put this in front of a vocalist, I don't think you'll be instilling confidence.

Il prodotto è ottimo, come accessorio del microfono che avevo precedentemente acquistato e che mi serve nella mia attività di formazione online. Perché un ottimo audio è molto importante per chi ascolta.Il filtro è ben costruito, la retina è in metallo. Il montaggio, ovviamente sul microfono della stessa marca, è molto veloce, anche senza le istruzioni (che non ci sono).La consegna è stata perfettamente puntuale. Un solo, piccolo appunto: l’Imballo era piuttosto carente, non era in una scatola ma dentro un sacchetto di plastica. Poco protetto, avrebbe facilmente potuto danneggiarsi nel trasporto (fortunatamente non è accaduto).

This is a well built, fantastic performing condenser mic. Although I'm not convinced I really needed it, I did buy the isolation/pop filter combination. I'm told it improved my sound, etc. I would recommend this mic to anyone who needs a good condenser mic. I can use it for vocals alone, or with guitar/vocals combined, as it is excellent in both situations.

This is the first shock mount I could find that works with my sE Electronics x1r. Probably designed this way for a reason. Still, high quality enough to do the job for a good while to come by the looks of it.

The sE Electronics Isolation Pack is perfect for my X1R. The isolation mount mates perfectly with it, and comes with a 3/8 to 5/8 mic stand adapter. The pop screen is of little use as I already had a small form factor pop screen; but, am 100% pleased with this shock mount kit.

I give Amazon 1 star for a crappy recommendation engine. I give this product 4 stars because the build is decent and it provides decent isolation. The mesh screen will not filter out pops (you need a foam one for that) but overall, it offers good isolation. This is not designed for the SE X1R Ribbon Microphone. I had to jury-rig it a little to make it work. I am not sure why companies that make mics don't make accessories that are universal, or at least make it really clear that

For reference, this isolation pack comes with an inlaid 3/8 inch thread, as opposed to the common 5/8 thread. I was disappointed upon buying a thread converter to find the inlaid 3/8 thread to be a converter itself, changing the shockmount's 5/8 thread to a 3/8, requiring the purchaser to unnecessarily buy a thread converter.
