This is a nice pot that collapses down to save space. I have an overland trailer with a slide out kitchen that has limited space. The fact that this collapses helps me fit it in there easier, and save room for more things. It heats well on my gas stove, and pours well too without spilling or dripping.

I like everything about this collapsible kettle; the size - it holds just shy of 7 cups (54 oz/1.6 liters); the base and lid are stainless steel; the body is silicon; the handles are glass reinforced nylon; and it's really cute. I love the color!!The handle on the kettle is silicon so my fingers won't get burned. There's also a silicon "rubber band" to hold the lid in place when it's collapsed. Excellent quality kettle for camping or home....great product...I LIKE it!

Itโs not exactly ultralight at 435g, but great at being a mid point between backpack and car camping. Sometimes I donโt want to boil water twice to make my morning coffee and rehydrate my breakfast where something like this comes in handy. Itโs a really interesting design and it seems built to last.

This camping kettle is nice to have for boiling water for coffee or freeze dry meals. It collapses down to make it easier to carry and store. It has thick rubber and the entire thing is heavy duty and made to last. Sea to Summit makes good gear.It does have a pretty heavy bottom plate and the top is metal as well. It is not light per say but lighter than a full metal kettle. I would skip it on a backpacking trip.The big caveat is that it needs to be centered over a gas stove and not on a camp fire or grill. It still uses rubber sides that can burn or melt. On one campout, I did not center it and it was started to smell as the plastic was heating up.The other issue is that you cannot let this dry out while using. It will no longer stay cool and melt.If you keep an eye on it and use it as intended, it is a well-made pot that can be taken with you anywhere. You just have to keep in mind it is not indestructible. The whole thing has a band to keep it together when not using it.
