The hole at the base of the blade channels the flow of water contributing to less friction and less fatigue. Fit is good with 5mm neoprene socks. Lots of boost with little leg effort. Legs were not sore like when using stiff scuba type fins. Comfortable with no hot spots or discomfort. Pretty flexible in the water with good control. My first pair of freediving fins, so nothing to compare with other than scuba fins. Great quality at a reasonable price.

These are great and so is the price, have two pairs now, one for me and one for my son. Have a size 12 foot and his is 12 1/2, have two pairs of the 12/13’s and they are easy to get on with both 3mil and 5 mm booties. Stay on and are very comfortable. Also have a pair of RIFFE 12 free diving fins and I love them when barefoot, but too tight with my 5mm booties.

I'm a 7.5W, I initially got these 6.5, but they felt too big for me. Then I ordered the 4.5 and waited to see which size fit best. I'm sticking with the 4.5.They are good and feel durable, but heavy, so if you have strong legs it should be good, if not, you will probably feel some pain.

These are great! Despite some of the other reviews on here that say they are not flexible, I will have to disagree, once you get in the water they are very flexible, helps you swim incredibly fast, I love them. They are somewhat flexible out of the water but they are fins, they're meant to be flexible in the water, (which they are!) Not out of the water.
