Great replacement for wiper on the boat. The wiring was a bit of a struggle but that was due to how the boat was wired. I adjusted the wiring and the wiper works great!

Product was delivered on time and an easy install. It seemed to work well but I can’t comment on durability since it is brand new. Came as advertised and time will tell.

shrink wrap package opened when arrived but nothing missing easy install, wiring locations well marked hooked it up, verified power at unit but does not work so far not impressed still looking for solution

UPDATE 5.25.20After 7 outtings since it was installed, the motor completely died on me. Not very happy with it and of course I am way out of my return window. Doubt that I will get any support on this. Updated rating. Good luck.*******************Installed this and turned it on. It barely moved and thought i had a bum unit as the wiper blade did not move like my old one before it died. Once i got on the water and some water sprayed on the windshield, the blade started moving with authority! Get some water on the windshield and you'll see it move. Only thing i dont like is the unit i have is not self parking. I dont know if its something to do with how i wired it so the 1 star off is because of this unkown.

Got this for a VW Thing. With it mounted on thr bottom of the windshield if parks the wiper to the left instead of rotated to the right and horizontal. I swapped the leads internally on the motor. The motor rotates the opposite direction but it still parks the same direction. I havent looked at the gearbox yet to see if there is anything to change in there. Motor is mounted behind the windshield on driver side with the shaft pointed fwd. Reference to left and right as seen from drivers seat.I guess all boat wipers mount above the windshield? I haven't seen any reference to which direction any of these will park.Edit: Took it apart and modified it to park to the right. The shaft that holds the parking switch cam is pressed into a gear. The shaft has only one flat on it to clock the cam for left side parking. I pressed the shaft out and indexed it 180 out. I should not recommend this solution. I was well passed the return window so why not?The are other motors that specifically mention parking direction and some are advertised as being able to park either direction.

Fit the factory hole on Polaris pro windshield . May have to drill the torque mount hole in windshield frame to keep motor from twisting.. For me im happy the passenger may complain that the wiper does not go far enough on their side lol.. But hey 69 bucks versus 500 id do it again in a heart beat

This wiper motor looks like other brands of universal wipers, but is actually a heavier duty version inside and out. It is more robust, and has more power. The spring loaded arm works better to hold the wiper against the glass, which is a huge gripe I have with the other knock off brands. Some customers were complaining that you can't tighten the bolt enough so that the arm grips the drive shaft. With mine, I found that the clamping block was installed in the arm backwards. The bolt was installed from the wrong side also, which prevents you from being able to tighten the clamp, regardless of how tight you make it. This is very easy to correct. Remove the bolt, and remove the clamping block. Flip the block over and reinsert the block and bolt so that the bolt goes through the clearance hole first and then through the threaded hole. With even modest clamping, it will grip the drive shaft. I gave it four stars because the wiper blade is slightly bowed from the pressure of riveting at the factory. This makes it so the rubber doesn't contact well on the outer ends. This is correctable too by bending the blade a little.
