Help in place well with rivets but, the anchor had to swing one way and broke the pulley I'm still going to use it because this is all I have but making the wheel a little stronger than abs plastic....

I’ve bought this product before. It’s good for fresh water. For coastal use I will have to zinc-coat the metal. Wish they made a stainless steel version.

This device should be standard equipment on all small boats. I used to try to get to the bow without lean over the bow without falling or breaking anything in the boat. Poor balance issue. NOW I sit in the back, snap the anchor line and away goes the hook. REady to pull the anchor? Just start pulling the rope and stop when it gets to the boat In the river this task can be loads of fun when you are alone. Then back to the stern and get the boat moving.Now, I start the motor, pull the anchor and move to the next spot. All without standing or crawling to and from the bow.Oh yes, I almost forgot. The first unit had a broken wheel. Happened during shipping. Contacted customer service and arranged a return / replace. The replacement arrived the same day I was ready to send the first back.
