Used to hold open the cockpit locker for my sailboat built long before such luxuries became common place. Finding a proper fitting was a bit of a challenge, but once fitted they have been quite a nice addition. Seems a bit pricey for what you get, but hopefully they are of a quality stainless steel to last in this humid fresh water environment.Would still buy again.

I needed a way to hold open a hatch on my sailboat. This fit the bill. Simple to install and works great. I found #8 screws fit perfectly.
