Unit was easy to install and much cheaper than other brands. Appears to be good quality but only time will tell how it holds up. Comes with a 4-year warranty.

i bought this at sell right now it's price is 2800/- i got this one for 2300/-.i bought it 2 months ago from the time of this review upoaded.my dad wanted a water pump for our borewell and at farm we don't have electricity so this pump was good fit for solar electric water pumping. so far i don't have problem but the plastic body when i got it felt delicate. it's not squishy but you can tell the plastic body is not that good plastic so i had bought tyre tube and kept the pump in middle of that tube just incase we accidently bump the pump around the walls of borewell it doesn't get broken. apart from that i don't have any complains.the outlet hose connector is 29M which is slightly bigger than 1inch pipe fitting but there are ways to connect the pipe using clamp so that's not issue.

I installed a pair of these SEAFLO 2000 GPH bilge pumps to replace my old and no longer working 1200 GPH Rule pumps and I have to tell you that I couldn't be happier. These pumps remove so much water from the bilge so fast that the only time both of them have come on simultaneously was when I first launched in the beginning of the season and I forgot to close the A/C cooling seacock, allowing a flood of water into the bilge. Fortunately, these pumps were able to remove the water faster then it could flood in, allowing me plenty of time to get to the bilge, diagnose the problem and close the seacock. Problem solved and I didn't even have to go back to the dock! Some might argue that installing bilge pumps this large is complete overkill in a 27-foot boat. However, I would have to humbly disagree. From my perspective, I'd rather have way too much water removal capacity than not nearly enough! On a side note, it was really something else to see how much water was jetting out of the bilge discharge ports as these pumps were doing their thing. You simply cannot imagine what 4,000 gph of waterflow looks like coming out of the side of a boat. Scary and impressive at the same time! Even scarier is thought of what would have happened that day if I had not replaced those old and worn out Rule pumps with these new SeaFlo pumps!PS - By the end of a full boating season, these pumps were pumping just as hard as they had the first day I launched with them installed. I expect that these pumps should last at least a decade before they will need replacing. I will update this review if that turns out to be wrong.

This review is for the 2000gpm non automatic Seaflo pump. I use this as a backup sump pump at home with a separate tethered float switch. It has been submerged in that pit for 3 years now and still works fine. I test run it about once a month. Also it is quiet. I used a rubber dishwasher drain adapter with hose clamps to adapt the outlet to standard 1-1/2" drain pipe. Pricing on this pump can vary, it was a good value when I bought it.
