Switch didn't cut off in situ, but did work outside box if float raised manually. Something not right. Wired in an old switch from the broken sump I had instead as couldn't be ars*ed to return it.

Purchased to replace an outdated and broken shower box. Many different hose connection options, just hack saw to the size connector you need. Easy to install.

I purchased this unit based on the box size information included in the ad. Because Amazon obviously added the info to the ad I assumed the information was accurate. Purchaser (who I assume knows how to use a ruler) clearly reported the unit is 8"long. WRONG. IT IS 11". 11 inches won't fit into a 8" space. DUHHH. Preparing to return the sump (which did appear to be well done) after it was boxed I changed my mind and used my band saw to cut 3" off of the back and plug the opening with a piece of Starboard. NOW IT'S 8 INCHES. I would have given the unit 5 stars but I feel that the seller bears some responsibility for providing the misleading information (the only information about box size) in the ad. Can't say it's 8" when it's 11? About 2 hrs work to complete the modification in the 11" long shower sump box.

I bought this shower sump in January of this year and it just died after 11 months. Can find much information on warranty so after searching unsuccessfully, I've decided to give up and buy a higher quality unit. I have two showers on my boat and the front shower box is one of the known USA brands, it's quiet and has been running flawlessly for years. This Seaflo unit was loud and just died out of the blue. Will not be buying a unit from this company again.

Easy to install and half the price of the one that I was replacing. The quality is excellent. The only complaint I have would be that better wiring directions are needed.
