This is a very well designed and manufactured battery switch. The quality of the construction is obvious. The thought in terms of how to mount it in three different ways is also quite admirable. From there, the manufacturer really drops the ball. First the product comes with installation instructions that are a muddy photocopy, and are actually meant for completely different product. Secondly, it comes with no mounting hardware. It only needs four screws and four nuts costing a total of perhaps $.20 but instead I had to spend 20 to 30 minutes scrounging through my parts bins looking for the right ones. This really detracted from the overall experience and was a waste of time. it would’ve been nice if they had posted good installation instructions on their website, but alas, there is nothing there either. Most importantly, it’s very difficult to figure out what is the size of the cutout to mount the switch on a panel or a wall. I had to get out my callipers to figure that out. I’m looking forward to using the switch in my RV now that this disappointing installation experience is behind me

The switch works fine. However it was shipped with four additional large nuts that don’t fit anything on the switch instead of the four machine screws and nuts that secure the switch to the cover. I needed the switch now and didn’t have time for return and replacement so had to source parts myself.

Easy to install, seems to be heavy duty. I have been using it on our camper for the last 6 months that we have been living on the road. No issues whatsoever.

I installed this switch in the utility/battery compartment of my boat as an easy means to disconnect the battery completely during periods of non-use. The size of the switch was perfect for my location. The four mounting holes made it easy to screw to a vertical surface location out of the way, but still near the battery. I bought a simple black battery cable at the auto parts store and wired the switch in between the black negative (ground) wire and the negative battery terminal. The switch comes with little removable access panels, so picking an in/out wire route thru the switch is easy. The access is large enough. My big battery wires run/out the same underside of the switch housing. The bottom has an insulating cover, so not much chance of anything shorting out under there. It has a nice, easy to rotate actuator knob with color coded ON and OFF indicators. Time will tell how it does in the marine environment it will be subject to. All in all, it looks good and does the job.

This item did or does exactly what I need it to do. Wish it came with four side covers instead of three had to fabricate one of my own.Also it appears to be completely water resistant although that is not mention anywhere in the description.

I would like so see the on / off labels bigger and in different colours. They are hard to read and not easy to understand if you need to use the switch in a emergency .
