sadly, product delivered was very poorly packaged for a sensitive electronic component and upon opening in a "terrible" condition. Bent connector pins made it completely unusable and should have never been sold. Not worth even a tenth the price. Vendor may have just made an oversight but, wherever they got the hard drive, it was not worth a dime. Never put something like that in a new or used computer.

This is a new HDD but not from SEAGATE as all the HDD's purchased were expired by more than a year. You will get no warranty on device from Seagate at all. You have to look at fine print and see they are being shipped thru Amazon but from a third party and not SEAGATE as add show for Seagate Store. Returned all 5 immediately for a full refund.

I only have these drives for 3 months. Only thing I can tell you is that they are louder than my other drives 4tb of the same brand and family

J'ai reçu l'article avec près d'une semaine de retard dans un carton sans protection (à peine quelques feuilles - voir photo). Je me suis empressé de le brancher pour vérifier sa santé avec crystaldiskinfo. Je n'ai même pas pu faire le test, le disque siffle et racle pendant plusieurs minutes. Le disque est neuf mais complètement foutu.Pour le personnel d'amazon : un disque dur ça s'empacte comme de la porcelaine, ça ne doit subir aucun choc.Je n'achèterai plus de disque dur sur cette plateforme.Sitôt reçu, sitôt renvoyé.

Le l’utilise dans mon NAS Synology DS1517+ cela fonctionne à merveille il tourne 24/24 sans problème avec les logiciels de vidéo Plex et Emby je recommande
