Fits good has a built in channel for better oiling and way better then the original Babbitt ones that flake apart

OK, I installed these on my 1981 Rabbit Pickup Truck 1.6L Turbo Diesel (Original 1.6 Diesel was swapped out for the 1.6 Turbo), These bearings are Better than the original bearings because there are one piece. The original VW/Audi Rings are made from a flat strip of metal rolled up and joined together with kind of like a dovetail joint and then they must heat it up and coat it with some sort of metal coating but over time that coating chips off and that joint becomes loose. These bearings are made of all stainless steel I believe and they dont chip like the OEM ones. You have to remove the engine in order to install these but it can be done, many people in the forums say you can't do it but my engine is proof that it can be done. Extremely good quality and perfect fit, very happy with them. Andrew
