Best new item out there. It works. Keeps paint and rollers from drying out ( saves money. ) It's NOT cheap in cost, but worth it . It's convenient, time saving and keeps the mess down to minimum. It 's an item you'll have for years, if cared for properly. I am Happy and like it a lot.

I like that it's sturdy.I dislike that the tray is very large and takes up a lot of room in the container where I keep my paint trays.I will say I dislike the political materials that were packed in with my purchase.Big no from me.

I've spent years covering paint trays with everything from Saran Wrap to trash bags, whatever I had handy. And while it did the job, it wasn't always perfect. Sometimes air would leak in and the paint would get a film on top. Or the plastic would sag down into the paint and make a mess when you tried to open it again. So I went on the search for a paint pan with a lid. This one looked great, especially because I could put my roller in there as well. I've been using another product to keep my rollers wet in between projects, so this simplified both issues, and was less equipment I have to carry around. I ended up ordering the large pan for my large roller that I use on the walls, and the small pan for my smaller roller that I use on Doors. When I first received my paint pans, I poured the paint and then realized when I went to put the lid on the large pan that there was a crack in the lid. Side note: the lid can be very hard to close. That is the only downside I have found, but I was able to finally get it to close, so I didn't take a star off. The bottom part of the paint pan is flexible, so when you push down on the lid, it's hard to get the leverage you need. I started closing it by snapping the lid down on the end where the roller head was first, then doing the deeper end of the pan where there was more stabilization.Anyway, when I realized there was a crack in the lid, I contacted the company and let them know. I offered to return the whole thing if they wanted me to, but I explained I had already poured paint in the pan so it would be easier if I could just get a new lid. They responded within 24 hours and said they would be sending out a new lid and apologized for the issue. Only the lid on the larger pan was cracked, the smaller pan was perfect, but they actually sent me lids for both of my pans, as well as a little paint Dozer thrown in (which I already have but I love so I will gladly use it).I received the replacements about 3 days after their response. I couldn't ask for any better customer service, and other than the large lid being a little hard to snap down, the product is wonderful. By the way, for some reason the lid on the smaller one snaps down very easily. I only had issues with the larger one but again, it wasn't a big enough issue to take off any stars.TLDR: definitely worth every penny and would buy again/ recommend to everyone.

I purchased 3 of these for a very big job we are doing. I got 3 because we are working with 3 different colors. I started early with 1 color and ended up being away from the job for 2 weeks. When I came back, the paint, my brush and roller left in the pan were still usable. We had all 3 colors going for a week and stored all paint applicators in the trays. We worked a week that way and when we cleaned everything up at the end, it all came clean. The trays were a breeze to clean. We love these trays and recommend them highly!!!

I own a small business and painting wood is part of our daily duties. I came across this tray and thought I’d give it a try. It has been a lifesaver. The paint roller can be kept for hours and even over night without it drying out. I will be buying this product again when I need a replacement.

Overall I'm pretty happy with this. I can spread out my rolling without having to cleanup in between. I took off a star because it doesn't seal quite as tight as claimed on the long sides. I put water water in it, turned it upside down, and there were drips out those sides. Looking closely I can see that edge doesn't stay all the way down so there's a little gap. I bought three, and they all do it, so I don't think it's just one bad one. Bending the lid to give it a little U shape might help. I'm sure it will be fine between coats or overnight, but I suspect the paint would dry out if left for longer periods. It's a lot easier than wrapping the trays up in plastic between coats.

I saw this in a tool store and bought it. I love it. It saves me from cleaning up every day, just snap the lid on and walk away. Next day open the lid and start painting. No more wrapping up the roller with plastic wrap or spending time cleaning the tray or wasting money on disposable trays. No more opening paint cans and cleaning the rim. Just don't fill the tray too much, make sure you leave enough room to roll the roller.I'd say this saves me 20 minutes at the end of a day. I paint every day.I used the one I bought at a store for paint but I wanted another for primer, the store didn't have anymore and couldn't order one for me.I found this one on Amazon and snapped it up. It just arrived and the plastic seems to be thicker than the one I already own which can only be good. One word of caution; I caught my little finger between the lid and tray while snapping it shut leaving a nasty pinch mark, not to mention the pain it caused. Watch out for that, otherwise I highly recommend this tray.
