This box only comes with 2 mounting tabs, to buy an extra set of tabs is $10.⁰⁰The box is good but it should come with all 4 tabs to mount to wall' I mean these tabs are stamped out what do the cost to make less than a penny. Yet they sell them for $10. I had an other box I took the tabs off to mount it. Would have been 5 stars if it had full hardware set.

build two pilot holes and installed this Gang box outside at the front of my house it was easy to install the GFCI outlet into it. Caulked around the outside for extra waterproofing, its a solid sturdy metal that will last a long time.

A great box, not much to say about it. Does what it should with plenty of mounting options. Would gladly buy again.

Recently I bought a generator and this box was needed for an outside outlet setup that allows me to plug my generator to the wall outlet outside my home which then has a standard outlet on the inside of my home so I can plug anything I want to the inside outlet. In short, this setup allows me to run my generator without having to drape extension cords through windows or leave doors open for cords to be brought in when the power goes out.For my application a deeper outside box was needed to accommodate the outside receptacle. This unit was the ticket. It has extra knockout holes and its sturdy metal construction was exactly what I was looking for because it is mounted in my Texas backyard where conditions can rough. All the necessary hardware was included so installation was easy enough.A bit more expensive than other boxes but I went with other reviews and they were right so I figured I too should jump on the band wagon with a positive review too.Highly recommended--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I rely heavily on reviews when I make purchases so I put some time into reviewing everything I buy on Amazon for personal or business use so I can help other people considering that item. I keep an 80 watt bug zapper on at night on the fence, not far from the pool. I love the soundof bugs being zapped! Naturally, I needed a way to waterproof the 110 volt connector, other than justwrapping it with electrical tape...that's so bush league! I used this nice little cover in conjunctionwith a metal box, which I also bought here on Amazon:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0756M5NP3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I added a 110 volt 2-gang outlet and attached it to the fence. It is a very good idea to do a "dry" assembly to see how everything fits first; which side the cover opens on; and exactly where on the fence it needs to be. The outlet box itself comes with two small taps that protrude outward so you can screw it down on the fence. Mark these holes with a pen or felt marker, and drill a small pilot hole for the screw. (Or use an ice pick to make a starter hole). The Flowtron Zapper is here:https://www.amazon.com/Flowtron-BK-80D-80-Watt-Electronic-Coverage/dp/B00004R9VV/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=Flowtron+bug+zapper&qid=1606837743&sr=8-7The photosensor is here:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000P0FPVO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I installed a photo sensor on my zapper so that it doesn't run during the day. The plug end comes into our patio, and I run it into an extension cord where I've installed another outlet box with a switch on it. This way, I can cut power to the zapper in the event of rain or thunderstorms at night....not a particularly good idea to keep a bug zapper on in the rain! I might say here that yes, these zappers should probably be installed under the house eaves, however, I wanted to keep the bugs way out there by the fence rather than attract them towards the house or patio. That's just how I roll! Next time I won't use an ugly orange extension cord.
